We have built out testing laboratories, corporate office space and common dining areas for Nuance from the East Coast to Mid West over the last few years. Most projects BIC was engaged for pre-con to identify the business goals, perform space analysis and bring project from permit ready to close out.

Build-It Construction worked closely with owner’s project manager and condo board to design and renovate all common areas through two buildings.

  • (2) 5 story condo buildings, over 4,000 LF of 5 piece wainscoating
  • 24” tall 6 piece crown molding systems at entry
  • New ceilings, flooring, wall finishes through 10 floors of corridors
  • Complete gut and reno of entry lobby areas and mezzanine
  • Close coordination with residents and management to mitigate as much of the invasive work as possible

This project is a fantastic example of design building to meet a specific budget for our customer. All finishes, and selections were carefully chosen as a team between owner and builder.

Complete Kitchen, Bath, Living Area, and Entry Finishes and Fixtures rehab of over 1,200 Apartment Units. Schedule, schedule, schedule. This project allowed us to display how to effectively manage 30 crews turning over 5-6 units per week, every week, for 50 straight weeks through Process, Pre-Planning, and Schedule. BIC is proud to have devised a system to effectively manage and turn over high volume, high frequency rehabs throughout 4 separate locations.

  • Managed 30 Crews across 4 Locations
  • Turned over 5 Units at a time over a 5-7 day Turn Schedule per Unit
  • Units consisted of New Bathrooms and New Kitchens
  • Pre-Packaged Inventory Deliveries specific per unit type were created
  • This project was all about schedule and maintaining quality control

Many projects from in house floor refinishing to dormitory upgrades. However THIS  project is we are extremely proud to present as 100% self performed from: Demolition, Structural, Siding, Roofing, Masonry, Paint, Finish, etc. A Historic building required close coordination with street covenants and the academy. Details from the hold backs of the shutters to mimic exact shades of black and white at the chimney were all held to.

  • 50% of exterior wall structure was compromised
  • Series of hoist/tackle mortise/tenon strengthening and supplemental lumber to shore up exterior walls and floor joists throughout.
  • Renovation of kitchens and baths
  • Intricate rain screen detail with new siding and windows throughout

Construction of two massive salt storage structures. Both publicly owned Both performed in a time frame and quality better than every contractor before us, and a fact. Element of design build with regard to truss fabrication and installation method.
